I'm going to get straight to the point. I'm a small business owner. I've been handling my own SEO Services in Florida for over 15 years. My business has consistently held a first page position on Google organic searches for EVERY keyword phrase I desire in a highly competitive industry. Many of my pages hold the number one position in organic ranking, which means zero fees for pay-per-click marketing (sorry, Google). I know there's a place for PPC; I just don't need it. The amount of business I generate through organic searches is more than enough to sustain my lifestyle to the point where I share my leads with my competetors (only those who I know are decent people not out to shaft me). Case and point; I recently had a very reputable listing agency reach out to me trying to sell me "ad" space on their listing to the tune of $600 per month for my main category (Session Photography). She told me to "go on Google and type in this keyword phrase and you'll see we rank very high for your category". Well, to their dismay, a totally unrelated category came up with the wrong phrase! I said, "interesting,... I don't offer that service." She replied, "Oh my! Well let's try this phrase instead". I stopped her right there. Here was my final reply. "Listen,... I don't have the luxury of telling my 'potential' leads what to type in the Google Search box to find me! THAT'S the point of GOOD SEO! I'm not interested in your service."
Here's another example of USELESS SEO strategies. If an SEO company tells you that they can get you ranked and they do... for your specific business name... MOVE ON! Nobody's searching for "Bobby Browns Mobile Detailing Service"! Of COURSE you're going to show up for that search phrase! But, nobody knows who you are! They're more than likely searching for "Mobile Detailing in Tampa". And, if you don't show up, you're missing out... BIG TIME!
Here's the deal. I want to offer my SEO Services to a limited number of Florida Business Owners. Maybe ten good businesses; that's about all I'm willing to take on to avoid watering down the personal attention each one should be receiving for excellent results. ONE CLIENT PER INDUSTRY/LOCALLE!
